Open Question: *Easy 10 Points* Iphone 3gs and O2?
I just ordered a brand new iPhone 3gs off eBay locked to the O2 network (UK). I want to use pay and go and I would also like to receive free internet after topping up. Does anyone know if there are any sims like these available . Also, does the free internet for a year only apply if I buy the phone through the O2 store. Finally, do i have to bring my iphone to the o2 store to be activated. Thanks a lot, any help is appreciated.

Open Question: when do most British people get out and about in the community ? (Besides work, clubs, pubs, etc)?
how often one goes to pubs now in Britain? but more importantly when do British people receive out to look just people in different neighborhoods besides where they live and work? for example, shopping? for what? or when else? how frequent it is? and is it true that since computers and internet came out..that people stay in 50% or more MORE now? or which percentage of the time do people stay inside in their possess world more now and is this changing Britain? which kinds of people now associate on the streets and corners? how it was 20 years ago? how london is different than smaller cities or towns ? or Glasgow etc? please explain , describe what you can as well as what you think about this? thanks for your answers! Open Question: Is this typical behavior for a dad?
My husband has been extra busy with his home business the past 2 weeks so he agreed to spend some time with me and our 11 month old boy today - we went to the splash pad (little fountains in the middle of the outdoor shopping mall) to let him splash around in the water, to a restaurant, and to a kids's store to buy a shirt. I would say 80% of the time he spent on his iPhone (not talking but looking up things on the internet). He barely interacted with our son at every except at the restaurant he held/played with him while I ate (after he finished). When I complained to him about it he said I was nagging and "just to be glad that he even came". I try not to nag but it seemed almost every time I looked up at him while I was playing with our baby he was on the iPhone. He spends maybe 10-20 minutes a day with our boy at home except once in a while he'll watch him for 45-60 minutes. Is this normal for a dad? Should I just accept it?

I need either an ipad or a kindle. I will read everynight before i go to bed, i have a light so lights arent a problem. which wouldnt hurt my eyes as bad(im 42)? i want interent. i will store some and maybe some facebook, but i have an iphone and a computer. i wanted an ipad first but then i realized how expencive they were and that internet on a kindle is free. so what do you think?

Resolved Question: Best friend as roommate. Is this fair?
My best pal is switching from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, and asked me to be her roommate. I know every of the stories, but sometimes life throws things at you that you can't avoid. Rent would be $270 a month for me! Besides, our schedules are fixed where we'll be home on most days at opposite times anyway. So, I agreed. But... Would it be fair if I told her that I didn't want to split the utility bill down the middle since she has a habit of turning on the AC as high as it can go day and night during the summer? Or... should I just not worry about it sense she'll be paying the cable bill even though I do watch cable occasionally (I'm an internet chick most of the time, but at 19, I still watch cartoon network. Don't judge me.) We both hate each other's favorite foods, so we would more or less go grocery shopping individually. She'd pay cable and i'd pay internet. We'd also both pay our possess cell bills. Naturally, she'd receive the master bedroom with the huge closet. But, back to the question... If, every things considered, I were to ask her if she were insane for handing me a $77 out of $154 utility bill when she's soaking up the AC while I'm bundled up from head to toe in every sorts of blankets and coats, would that be fair?

I am a 17 year old male I live in Los Angeles California (close South La) Where i live it is a very needy area poverty is a big issue there are alot of homeless people living in the streets there is alot of gang members and criminals.The community is predominantly hispanic there are alot of shootings that occur. I myself witnessed 100's of scary incidents so much that i cant remember and had lost count. When it is tardy at night you cannot walk in the streets you always imagine something bad may happen and are traumatized by what you have seen before. I dropped out of high school with plans and goals to further my education. The reason why i dropped out of high school was because the school I had went to was bad there where stabbings and shootings that had happened there were students drinking beer in the classes students smoking marijuana and sniffing cocaine the school administration did not properly manage the school there was even teachers who would also drink alcohol in class. Most experienced teachers retired or had left to a better school they had given up with the school and students which presented an issue since every good teachers had been replaced with new teachers who had no experience and had not been around these nice of students. With every these issues i had given up with the school i could not handle being in that type of environment.I am different from these people who live close me. My dad is a police officer and is also in the military my mom works for the state of california since i was a young kid i had done training in martial arts and self defense i use to train with the Gracie's brazilian jiu jitsu i trained with very educated people who where in the marines army rangers special forces secret service fbi dea police officers people who had went to university's and had their phds.I am an expert with computers and electronics i can build a computer easily i also know alot about cars health and politics.I like going to the mountains going hiking also like to go running in the hills and riding mountain bikes going to the desert and drving atvs and dirt bikes or going to the lake and going inside a kayak i try to live life as best as i can and not think about where i live although there are some very nice neighborhoods in los angeles and orange county but the cost of living is very expensive the silly thing is from what ive heard where i live the taxes are the highest in the country so in some circumstancess the cost of living is almost the same as the better communitys.I had a few friends but most people i know had went to live in better cities and had went to universitys far from where i lives so i do not have any friends although i talk to people with a microphone through the internet i know alot of people from every around the world europe uk germany the netherlands united states but do not know any who lives close to me.I cant relate to most of the people who live in this community that i live in i do not do drugs i dont drink beer i am not in a gang and i am not involved in criminal activitys so that is why i dont have any friends who live around me.Most people with they meet me they think i am in my 20's since i do not look or act like i am 17 years old i am going to receive my ged which by federal law is equivalent to a high school diploma although i cant receive it yet because california state law require a person to be 18 years and older ounce i receive my ged i am going to go to a 2 year college then go to university Since you know about me now my question is about getting a girlfriend am i going to have a difficult time getting a girlfriend and where should i go to meet girls and how should i receive a girlfriend ? where i live there are no stores malls or shopping centers since the community is needy they do not have any of that but about 10 minutes away there are a nicer citys that do have that.If i go to the mall how do i approach girls when they are walking or in the store or at the food court ?

Open Question: New 4th generation ipod touch ? (Please answere $:)?
Alright so I bought an 32GB ipod touch 3g on Friday and well I found out when I came home that the new ipod touch 4g is coming out this wednesday (it's already out on the apple website but I can't buy it off the internet) at future store and well I'd like to receive it since my camera is totally broken and it doesn't work anymore. (so I need a camera anyways) It's only 299$ for the 32GB ipod touch 4g (pretty much the same price as I paid for the 3g except it was 298$ NOT a big difference.) so anyways what I'm asking here is : How does it work with the whole exchange thing? Can I exchange it online even tho I didn't buy it online or do I have to go back to future store where I bought it and then receive my money back ?

i bought a new toshiba laptob ( satalitte c650-129 ) and its battary just work for 1.40 hour at power saver mode and when i just browsing the internet ..so i change it from the store but the same problem still ...so i think its a software problem but i don't know what is it............ps: os is win7 ultimate x64 and cpu : core-i3 2.1

Open Question: Can anyone help me with this wireless broadband router problem I have?
This is not a problem with the router itself , rather a pricing issue , let me explain. It's a little long but I need opinions/advice. Earlier today I went to PC World store looking for a Cat5 ethernet cable for my student accommodation apartment , the only cable they had in the store was Cat6 and on the box it says that it's 5 times as powerful as a Cat5 , so I was waiting for an employee to be free so I could ask them whether it would be OK to use in the apartment (The Student accommodation said I required a Cat5 cable so I wasn't sure about Cat6).... Anyway , I got sleepy of waiting and called a guy I know who knew about these things and he told me he had a Cat5 cable spare at home he'd sell he for 10euro less , so I said that's grand and he said he'd arrive over later to look if the cable is ok for it... He came over to the apartment later and the Cat5 cable was ok but he had brought over a a "spare" wireless broadband router he said I could buy instead if I preferred wireless. I much preferred a wireless router because I hate cables anyway he said he bought it in March for €120 , and that he would sell it to me for €80 now , so I believed him and said Ok and I bought it and it worked and everything was grand. 20 minutes after he left the apartment I looked up the product on the Internet and on 4 separate websites the average price for it was €30 to €35. http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/netgear-wgr614-wireless-broadband-router-01064845-pdt.html That's the exact router I bought and in this one on PC World , the same store my pal said he bought it from for €120 , it costs about £32. My main question is , has this product EVER cost anywhere close €120 , preferably around March , or has he screwed me over for €80??? I called him and told him I'd seen the same thing on different websites for about 30 euro and he said he didn't rip me off and that he swore on his dead Mothers grave he got it for €120 in PC World , I'm asking is that even possible or is he just lying through his arse to cover for himself? I've known him for 3 years in College so yes I admit I was gullible enough to trust him before checking the price. Advice or Opinion please? Am I ripped off?

Open Question: How do I quickly go into adult entertainment?
I need money, we literally only have $14 left after paying rent and a $40 food stamp card for three people and our pets. I do a webcam thing but there's no internet at the home (can't afford it lol) and it's not like I can go to the coffee store and use their wifi. So how do I go about doing legitimate videos and pics for some money? And yeah we've every tried to receive jobs and we're not going to cease trying. We do call the places we apply to frequently and stay on top of things. It's just that no one is really hiring in the area and I don't have experience outside of volunteer jobs. So I need advice on how to receive into the adult entertainment industry quickly. I don't care if it's sleazy, I need money. Go ahead and blast me with your moral babble if you feel the need to (heads up; you'll most likely receive a nasty email in return), but the point is I don't mind it and I don't have a problem doing it if it puts food on the table and keeps the electric on till I can find a more decent job. Open Question: What laptop should I purchase based on performance and would fit my needs and daily use of it?
Alright, so my laptop just recently broke down and I'm having a problem deciding which brand laptop to buy that would best fit my needs. I already took it to a repair store and got it fixed twice so I'm not in the mood to spend money to fix it for nothing again. WHAT MY PROBLEM IS: Before it broke down, the memory capacity wasn't even halfway used up in the first place and it was so slow and unresponsive. (Even after I deleted so many pictures, videos, songs, programs and uninstalled software.) It was unresponsive whenever i surfed the internet, then I'd have to restart it, and it would freeze up from time to time regardless of what I'm doing. WHAT I MAINLY USE MY LAPTOP FOR: I check my e-mail and surf the internet almost everyday, I use my spare time to edit skating videos that I've filmed and in order to edit, I install software and programs. I store every my pictures that I take, every the videos I make, and every the music from my itunes. SPECIFICATIONS NEEDED: I looking for a laptop that's quick no matter how much memory is used, can support a few programs and software, has USB, Ethernet, and a CD steer, optionally an SD and memory stick slot as well. Is also very mobile and compact. Not too tiny like those mini composition notebook sized laptops, but at the same time not too big. Not too heavy either. So basically a laptop that has a fair amount of memory, can work quick and effectively even while surfing the internet and using programs/software, has slots that enable me to connect your everyday accessories (flashdrive, dvd, cd, sd card, memory stick, etc) and is not too big and not too tiny. If you have any advice or info about my question, feel free to talk up and let me know. Also, if you know of any more specifications or things in or on a computer I could use that would make my daily habits easier, feel free to tell me about it as well. Thanks in advance! :)

Open Question: Wrong type of waistcoat?
I've recently bought a new waistcoat for sixthform at school, but upon a little bit of internet browsing, I've noticed that my waistcoat doesn't look right compared to others. The one I've bought has four buttons, and splits (I don't know the correct terminology, but where the shirt underneath is revealed) just below the Pectoralis major. Looking at other designs, this split occurs further up in the chest, and contain more buttons, giving different looks. What I'm worried about is having bought a waistcoat that is associated more with waiters (which I'm trying to avoid). If anyone can tell me if the waistcoat I have is inappropriate or not, that would be great, and it would be much appreciated if, supposing it is inappropriate, to provide links to shops which do sell the right types of waistcoats. Open Question: Help! my computer is acting really strange when i change my web page when im on the internet!?
My computer will open up anything, google, facebook or whatever. when i click on a link that changes my page to the desired website, occasionally it will instead turn into a shopping page that is searching for whatever that link was about (for example, if i clicked on a t shirt website, it may redirect i to the shopping website that is searching for t shirts). if i press the back button, the webpage immediately redirects me to google, which is not my homepage. the website it redirects me to is megashopsearch4you.com or may also redirect me to shopcompareus.com until this started happening i have never visite those sites before as well

Resolved Question: Met and amazing man, maybe even THE ONE, but he lives thousands of miles away?
I just came back from a trip to europe that took about 3 months. I first went to london and lived with my aunt. I was at this internet cafe on my second day there and was bored out of my mind when I met this guy. His names Blake, and he started to awkwardly try his best to make conversation which I thought was the cutest thing in the world. We talked for hours, until the store closed. I came back for about two weeks straight, and he was there most days. I then had to leave london to receive started on the relax of my trip, so I told him I had this whole thing planned out where I was going to a bunch of european cities. He offered to arrive, and I said yes. I have no idea why to this day, usually I'm a practical person and think everything through, but this was spontaneous. He came, and I won't receive in to detail on the things we did, just because there's a lot to say. We started to become really close and ended up dating. We shared motel rooms, but not once did he even suggest we have sex. He respected me, and I found myself in adore with him by the end. It's been the best 3 months of my life, but I have no idea what to do. We talk to each other every the time now that I'm back home, but I feel like our relationship is going nowhere. I'm starting University and he's in his 4th year, so none of us are prepared to move. I want to move on, but I know he will always be my "what if" guy. Should I just clip him out of my life now before things receive worse? Life sucks

Voting Question: a question about monroe piercings?
Well, i've had my monroe pierced for 2 and a half months now, i have put in a bioplast labret bar, from body jewellry store, and the inside dish really sinks into my lip, there is quite alot of bar expose on the outside though, is it normal for it to sinkk into your lip quite a bit? and how do you know if your piercing is the perfect fit? i cant find a guide on the internet anywhere lol. any advice would help :) thanks!

Open Question: Made a boo-boo, will my Cherry Shrimp survive?
The husband and I recently added some Amano Shrimp to our community tank. We thought that they were so cute that we went back to our local fish store for more. I spotted the Cherry Shrimp in another tank and I said "Hey, let's take some of these guys to add some variation." We asked the employee if they got along with Amano Shrimp and he assured us that it was fine. So we got home and I looked up Cherry Shrimp on the internet, only to find out that they grow quite a bit smaller than the Amanos. We thought we would try them out anyway. After we released them, a few of our Congo Tetras went after them. Our tank is heavily planted (including floating plants), so the Cherry Shrimp were able to scuttle away to safety and hide. It has been a few days now and the Cherry Shrimp are surviving, although they have to scuttle plant to plant or they will be nipped by those darn Congo Tetras! It seems so odd, but every the other fish do not pay attention to them at every. I read some more on the internet and I found a page that says as long as Cherry Shrimp have adequate planting to hide in, that they can survive even with big aggressive fish. I think it could be possible because I have been watching them and they are not stupid little shrimp. They know how to maneuver themselves around the aquarium undetected. Occasionally, a Congo will spot them and go in for a nip but then they will zoom off into the plants faster than lightning. Has anyone else had this experience? Did your Cherry Shrimp survive? But why does it have to be like this? when i ask him if we can just make it more even ande we split everything down the middle, he gets mad and says im making things a big deal for nothing. he says i shouldnt have a problem with his money being "community money" and mine going directly to the rent and cell phones. can someone pleae tell me if im overreacting? or is this not fair? if it's not fair, please tell me why....because when i try to explain it to him, he argues me down and says that it is equal....i just feel that the amt of money he gives me during the month does not add up to how much im paying. just me and bf living here. i just pay for my mom's cell phone bill.

Open Question: What is the best Auto Repair Shop in St. Louis, Missouri?
Hi, I need to receive my clutch repaired/replaced in my 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S. I have been ripped off horribly when I got my brake job done at Dobbs since I didn't know a ton about cars. I looked on the internet for what the best car repair store was and had trouble finding one. "Reliance Automotive" was one name that came up. It seems that people say it is best to stay away from the chains (like Dobbs, Meineke, etc). I used to think the chains wouldn't rip you off since the workers were paid hourly and didn't care how much they overcharged you, but I guess I don't know exactly how chain shops work. But anyways, the advice I have gotten from some people is to try to find a tiny non-chain store for repairs. If you have any suggestions for a good place (chain or not) to receive your car repaired in St. Louis/Chesterfield, Missouri area please let me know. I want to find an honest store that I can go to forever.

Resolved Question: my laptop is overrun by viruses! what do i do?
ok so basically, what happened yesterday was that i got a virus alert from avira (as that was what was installed on here). so i clicked the remove thing and 5 seconds later, i was blue screened, and my laptop restarted. it took forever to reload, and this happened twice within an hour. so i went to do a system restore to a point about a week ago, couldn't receive to system restore through normal window so loaded windows in safe mode, then tried system restore. my restore points are no longer available and the only one left was one from an hour ago. i ran a quick scan with avira, which i later deleted too, and it showed i had every sorts of trojans and worms, whereas when i ran the scan on monday (last time laptop was used) i had nothing. after that, it's been fine, like for the hour and half i used it last night and using it now. but i'm sure there's loads of viruses and stuff on here! a pal of mine has told me i need to reboot the entire system, but i really don't know how to do it. another pal said it could just be malware (what the heck it malware?) every i have is my laptop, a windows xp home edition key and the internet (lol) sorry i know i sound hopeless, but that's how i feel! i could just take it to the computer store, but they're damn expensive and its embarrassing that i can't even control my possess laptop! I am a single lesbian mom who is aroused a lot. I do not believe in one night stands. So I need to take matters into my possess hands a lot of the time. I am very visual. Open Question: PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!Help with organizing school and life!?
Part 1-School days Last year, I did pretty good in school, with nothing less than an A- and a lot of A's and A+'s and my year average was in the low 90's. I want to keep it that way, or maybe even receive it a bit higher. I am very picky when it comes to school, I need to be "the best"(No pressure from family or anything, just so you know!) But at the end of last year, my grades kinda started to slip because I got so disorganized at home! I have a terrible desk, with absolutely no storage space. I should be getting a new one soon, but still. Last year, every my books and notebooks and stuff were every over! How can I receive more organized this year? I am definitely getting a new desk, but what else should I do? How can I keep that new desk organized? Just any little tips or tricks to help me stay on top of my game next year, because school is very important to me, even though I am only going into the 7th grade! I am in a middle class family, so a college or even high school scholarship would be very helpful!So, I want to keep my grades up so hopefully that does happen! Part 2- Room/ organization at home regarding school I am So disorganized at home! My room is usually a mess, and stuff is scattered everywhere. This summer, a pal helped me organize my room, and I kept at it for about a week, but now it is soooo difficult! And if I can't keep it up during the summer, how could I possibly do it during school? What can I do to try and stay organized at home? Also, I have been known to double book, so I make 1 plan, and then forget about the first plan and make a second plan! That got me in quite a lot of trouble last year, so what can I do to prevent it this year? Info about my room: I have a pretty big closet, I keep shirts, pants, and shoes in there I have a dresser with 5 drawers. First drawer: PJ's Second drawer: Undies and socks and bathing suits and bras and stuff. Third drawer: Winter stuff Fourth and Fifth: NOTHING! What should I put in there? I also have a daybed, and my mom said she is not spending the money on another mattress below there, so what should I store in there? I have a bookshelf with a big binder of every of last years papers EVER SINGLE ONE!!!, magazines, and books. On top of that, I have the cable box and stuff for my TV, and my iPod dock. And it is kinda annoying because right behind my bookshelf is a million TV wires, and in the other corner there is a million internet cords that I cannot tame because then the internet will close off.... for good until the Verizon people arrive): Also, I don't have a vanity, but my mom said I should just put every the stuff I would put on my vanity on my dresser, cause it is pretty wide. How should I organize it??? Part 3- Mornings I am having to receive up a lot earlier this school year, because I moved, and I am getting to that age when I spend a TON of time getting ready in the morning!!! (: This school year, I am going to start straightening my hair in the morning, and maybe taking a shower in the morning. Last year, it took me an hour and a half to receive ready. They are every on Saturday.If I start in the 7th grade, would that look good on a school resume, or would I just look stupid?
